PRIDE, STRENGTH, COURAGE, HONOR, INTEGRITY
Located at 37 Manor Dr in Kreamer, PA, Kreamer Fire Department was started in 1950 with just a handful of concerned citizens that felt obliged to do their part to assist the community. Since then our roster now includes 15 active volunteers and 5 career staff. We are proud in our part in keeping Snyder and surrounding counties safe.
Our station phone number is (570) 837-8977.
Truck, Tanker, Squad, Ambulance, and Command vehicles can be found here. Check out our well maintained apparatus.
Kreamer is proud to be a local emergency provider in emergency medical care and transport of the sick and injured.
Please remember to wear your seat belts while in a vehicle whether you’re the driver or passenger. Seat belts do save lives.
If you’re the driver, please obey posted speed limits and watch for traffic hazards such as slower moving or stopped vehicles.
Please don’t drink and drive, have a designated driver. Statistics show that 1 in every 45 min someone dies from drunk driving. (United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration)
Please never forget your children in the backseat. Over 900 children died of heatstroke since 1998, because they were left or became trapped in a hot car. See the NHTSA “Where’s Baby” video here.
ALWAYS look before you lock.
Check your smoke detectors once a month and replace the batteries every year.
Have an emergency plan in place and practice it twice a year with the members of your household. Check out this National Fire Protection Association web page on tips to prepare with your family.
If you have young children, please make sure they know their address and parents name, as well as what to do in an emergency.
